SheetAI Is Now in Beta
Merry Christmas! This is a scheduled blog post.
Today, we’re excited to officially announce the launch of the SheetAI beta.
What is SheetAI?
SheetAI is a browser-based Excel AI analysis tool. Its goal is to help users complete complex and time-consuming spreadsheet analysis tasks without writing formulas or code.
We are not trying to make Excel more complicated.
Instead, we want to make Excel’s analytical power easier to use.
Core Capabilities of SheetAI
1. AI-powered Excel data processing
Users can upload Excel files directly, and SheetAI can help with:
- Filtering, sorting, and cleaning data
- Handling missing values and outliers
- Structuring multi-column data
Tasks that normally require many formulas or manual steps can now be completed using natural language.

Excel becomes more than just a table — it becomes an analysis result that can be understood.
Use Case 1: Fast Sales Data Analysis & Visualization
A marketing analyst uploaded a quarterly sales Excel file containing products, regions, and sales volume.
In SheetAI, they only needed three steps:
- Upload the Excel file
- Describe the analysis goal in natural language
- Review the automatically generated charts and insights
SheetAI automatically cleaned the data, generated product sales comparison charts, and highlighted regions with significantly higher growth rates.
The entire process required no formulas and no switching between tools.
Use Case 2: Financial Trend Interpretation
Another user uploaded an annual financial report to quickly understand profit trends.

Is SheetAI free to use?
Yes. SheetAI is currently free for all users, and there will be no membership plan for a long time. Even if paid plans are introduced in the future, core features will remain free.
Who owns my Excel data?
SheetAI processes data locally on your computer. Only when you explicitly use the sharing feature will data be stored on our servers. Data ownership always belongs to the user. SheetAI will never use, sell, or share your data without permission.
The SheetAI beta is just the first step.
We will continue to improve the Excel AI analysis experience, chart generation quality, and overall stability — with the goal of making SheetAI a tool that is easy to use, safe to rely on, and useful every day.
